Senator Tim Scott (R) speaks about race and his support of Jeff Sessions.
U.S. Sen. Tim Scott is the first African-American elected to the Senate from South Carolina and the first black elected to a statewide office since Reconstruction. His election is historic. It is nothing less than a tragedy that he would have to endure this kind of hatred, much of it from other black people. When are the folks on the left going to realize that the racism they accuse the right of is actually the tactic they use to try to intimidate black people who don’t line up with their definition of a being black? God Bless Tim Scott. His resolve and service in spite of the vitriol from the “tolerant” left is admirable.
